Warm up for holiday gatherings by playing some silly games & color your own holiday cards.

Hole punch some paper & add some thread to create a string art card for you or a friend. Grades 6-12 are invited to attend.
Registration is required & opens the week before. For example, programs the week of February 2 open for registration on January 26. If there is space, you may register the day of the program.
Every snowflake is unique, especially when it’s made by you! Design your snowflake using beads & wire. Grades 6-12 are invited to attend.

Make your own stamp by using special tools. We’ll carve our designs into Lino blocks, cover our blocks in ink & press them onto sheets of paper to create a print. Grades 6-12 are invited to attend.

Learn how to embellish using raw edge fabric applique this month. We’ll learn to use fusible web & free motion stitching…& then play. All supplies provided this month, including a blank tote bag for decorating. This is a project requiring being comfortable with an iron; it is recommended for those ages 12+. Those not yet in high school should attend with an adult.

All supplies will be provided for this quarter’s Learn to Sew program. If you’d like to bring small pieces of 4-8 fabrics that you love, do so! Please contact the library if you will need to borrow a sewing machine for the evening. If you are bringing your own machine, a Free Motion Quilting Foot will be helpful but not required.
