Marshall District Library is tax-supported by the City of Marshall & the townships of Eckford, Fredonia, Marengo & Marshall (except those residing in the Harper Creek School District). Free library cards are available to residents & property owners of these areas.
Non-residents are welcome to use library computers, attend library programs & browse materials in the library. In order to check out materials, non-residents must obtain a non-resident card.
Pricing for Non-Resident Cards
$100 per year per household
$50 for 6 months per household
$25 for 3 months per household
50% discount for active military service members, veterans, and senior citizens (60 or older).
Registration
In order to sign up for a library card, please bring a photo ID with your current address to the library Help Desk. If the address on your ID is not current, you may additionally bring a lease agreement or an official piece of mail (such as a bill) postmarked and delivered to your current address. Applicants ages 5 through 17 require a parent or guardian’s signature.
