Dog Training Basics

Do you have a new dog or would you like to learn more about how to choose the breed that is best for you? How about learning everyday care practices, as well as the basics of training your furry, four-legged friend? Kathy Schaberg Hamaker will discuss these things & more! Kathy has a background in teaching pet owners dog training basics, as well as teaching 4-H members the ins & outs of showing dogs for fair & competition purposes. Kathy & guests will bring their dogs for a demonstration. Please leave your pet at home for this program.
Registration required; all ages welcome. Please meet at the Merchant Building at the Calhoun County Fairgrounds (720 Fair Street, Marshall MI 49068). Look for Marshall District Library program signage when you arrive.
