Historic Bridge Park

Learn from the man who restored the 5 bridges that make up Calhoun County’s Historic Bridge Park. Seated along the Kalamazoo River & Dickinson Creek, the bridges make up a series of short trails & also serve as a “hands-on” exhibit of Michigan’s transportation history. Vern Mesler will visit the library to share about the ten year restoration project of the bridges, the history & technology of wrought iron & steel, & his efforts to continue educating & encouraging preservation.
