Take the Smokey Bear Reading Challenge in celebration of Smokey’s 80th birthday. Read 5 books during Happy Camp & get a Marshall District Library flashlight.
Throughout the Reading Challenge, special activity sheets will be available each week as well as monthly scavenger hunts within the library. The USDA Forest Service is collaborating with public library systems across the country to celebrate Smokey Bear’s 80th Birthday by providing a fun & easy way to engage all of us in learning about wildfire prevention, forests, & natural resource careers, while exploring their local environment.
