Virtual Crafty Thursday

May 21 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Have you been crafting during the stay-at-home? Tune in to this Zoom for a show & tell with other crafters. Public Services manager Shauna Swantek will also demonstrate two projects to do with materials you likely have on hand.

Registration required. (Contact the library at least a couple of days prior to the event if you are not familiar with Zoom.)

Please bring some show & tell items of what you’ve created the last couple of months.  Additionally, please gather the following:  water soluble markers (nothing fancy); well-rinsed styrofoam meat tray (or styrofoam plate); pencil or chopstick (dull enough to press into styrofoam without breaking it); paper (watercolor or regular); ziploc bag (or 2 or 3); spray bottle of water or damp paper towel; fine sharpie marker (black).  Optional:  watercolor paints & brushes and/or acrylic paints & brushes.  Attached are some project images for the kind of play you can anticipate.
