Learn to Play Ukulele

An event every week that begins at 6:30 pm on Thursday, repeating until February 25, 2021

Registration is currently closed for this program.  If you have any questions, please contact the Help Desk. You know what goes well with a campfire? Campfire songs! Grab your ukulele & come learn the basics so that you can join in at our end-of-camp celebration by strumming along to some campfire classics. Early sessions will discuss the basics of ukulele including how to tune your instrument, strumming, & essential chords. If you already know the basics, no worries! Join in the later sessions to learn some songs & strum along with others in the community who share your love of ukulele & the spirit of aloha. Adults & Teens (grades 6 & up welcome); ukulele required. Email stafforda@yourmdl.org to reserve one of the library’s ukuleles; availability limited. Registration required by Jan. 18 to attend; program hosted virtually via Zoom. Please note space in this program is limited to 15 people.
