Author Loreen Niewenhuis will discuss how Isle Royale was formed and the unique geology that exists there. Then she’ll delve into the human history of the island, its transition into a National Park, and the longest-running predator/prey wildlife study that has been based on Isle Royale for nearly 60 years.
