Invasive Species in Michigan
October 20, 2020 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Invasive plant species can have a devastating effect on Michigan’s native plants. Join Fallon Januska as she discusses the negative impact of using non-native plants in your garden, as well as the benefits of using native plants. Ways to prevent the spread of invasive plant life will also be discussed. Januska is the Coordinator of the Barry, Calhoun, & Kalamazoo Cooperative Invasive Species Management Organization. This program is hosted in partnership with the Marshall Area Garden Club. Registration required; program hosted virtually via Zoom. (Contact the library at least a couple of days prior to the event if you are not familiar with Zoom.)
