Evolution of the Marshall Area Farmers Market

February 16 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Marshall Area Farmers Market director, Pam Wolfersberger, will share the history of the market since its inception in 2003. Pam will introduce current market vendors & advisory board members to share their stories. She is a member of the Michigan Farmers Market Association & a Registered Nurse Anesthetist with a Masters Degree in Anesthesia. She developed her passion for local food while traveling in Europe, seeing the locals going to market daily for fresh produce, meat & fish. Pam feels we should be aware of where our food comes from because of our health, environmental impact, & local economic growth. This program is in partnership with the Marshall Area Garden Club. Registration required by Feb. 14 to attend; program hosted virtually via Zoom.
