Conservation in Marshall

July 19 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Curious to know more about the environment here in Marshall? Join Cheryl Vosburg & other local environmentalists for an update on the health of our local water & shared community parks. Learn what the Marshall Area Conservation Committee (MACC) has been working on in recent years & what projects are ahead in the future. The MACC is a volunteer group of environmentally conscious citizens who work to protect & enhance Marshall’s natural resources. The group is best known for the annual fall river clean up called “Krazy for the Kazoo – a River Clean Up & Conservation Day.” In addition, the group has planted over 1,000 trees & is interested in expanding to other projects.
