Backyard Chickens

Are you interested in raising a few chickens but don’t know where to start? Join Kathy Fischer, Calhoun County 4-H Program Coordinator, as she tells you all you need to know to get started with chickens. She’ll also talk about the benefits of keeping chickens in your backyard as well as share information regarding local ordinances & rules. Fischer will be joined by Osceloa County 4-H Program Coordinator Jake Stieg. Registration required; program hosted virtually via Zoom. (Contact the library at least a couple of days prior to the event if you are not familiar with Zoom.)
